How Pal Stats Work in Palworld
Level (1–55) — Each level adds approximately 0.5% to all combat stats through natural scaling. This compounds with other bonuses multiplicatively.
Condenser Stars (0–4) — Applied via the Pal Essence Condenser using duplicate Pals. Each star adds +10% to all combat stats. At 4 stars the total bonus is +40%, making this the single most impactful upgrade. Cost: 1 ★, 4 ★★, 16 ★★★, 64 ★★★★ duplicate Pals.
Pal Souls — Small, Medium, and Large Pal Souls individually boost HP, Attack, or Defense by +1% each, capped at +20% per stat. Obtained from dungeons, specific Pal drops, and combat rewards.
IV Score — A composite score showing how fully invested a Pal is relative to its maximum possible stats. 100% = fully invested at max level with 4 stars and 20 souls per stat. Use this to compare Pals of different investment levels on equal terms.
